Greetings. I’d like to invite you to be a guest on my radio show and talk about DEATH BY GOVERNMENT.

The hour-long radio show I host is called Riell Truth. The show, which is broadcast live every Monday–Thursday from 4-5 pm EST on the American Freedom Network, KHNC 1360 AM, in Denver, CO, explores everything from Constitutional law and foreign and domestic policy to civil liberties, politics, cover-ups and much more.

I hope we can make it happen. Thanks very much.

Thank you for the invitation. I cannot accept it, unfortunately. My hearing is now so bad that I would not hear your questions clearly. Even with the best hearing aids. Maybe email is somehow a way around this. I can be reached at rummel at hawaii.edu.

    Dear Professor Rummel,
Do you have an updated version of your article from 1986 titled “War isn’t this centuries biggest killer”? I would very much like to see the updated numbers of persons killed by government as apposed to those killed by war. Thank you.

  5. rudyrummel says:

    Hello Mark,

Heavens yes. Spent 8 years updating that article. The results are all in my Statistics of Democide on my website http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/ here http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/. Be sure to read also the front page of my website that updates the update.

    Any questions, just ask

    Rudy Rummel

  6. Mark says:

Thank you for your help, I found your new totals for democide (262m) but could not find a total for those killed by war.
Your website has been an eye-opener and I will encourage everyone to visit and expand their understanding of Freedom and what It means for peace.
    Thank you. Mark

  7. rudyrummel says:

For war totals, look in the Statistics of democide tables. http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/NOTE5.HTM
I was as careful in these estimates as I was for democide

  8. John Wiederspan says:

Have referred to your work for years. Could it be that the cause of the majority of democide in the 20th century was not lack of freedom but the presence of communism? The human misery caused by just the USSR, PRC and Cambodia speaks to the point.

  9. rudyrummel says:

Communism does not change my conclusion about freedom being a method of nonviolence. Communism is the worst case of freedom’s suppression. And that it is also the worst democider should come should be no surprise.

This web site is really quite sophisticated, but for some reason it does not display properly when trying to view on my Nintendo Wii. If it helps, the console uses the Opera web browser and am impelled to using the console for accessing the Net whilst my PC is away being restored.

  11. rudyrummel says:

I am sorry to read about your problem and do not know enough about it to respond. When I constructed the website, I tested it out with all major browsers, including Opera, and fixed whatever problems showed up. That is all I can say.
